Writing A CV Is Hard: Here's a free CV Template To Get You Started
Writing a CV is tough, it's not really something that anybody teaches you to do.
If you Google it, you'll get lots and lots of conflicting advice such as 'you have to keep it to two pages' or 'you should design it in Canva so it stands out' and other such nonsense.
I've spent the best part of two decades in recruitment, I've read thousands of CVs and I know what a good one looks like.
The average recruiter will spend less than 6 seconds deciding whether your CV stands out enough for them to read this rest of it.
Most people overcomplicate their CV, whether that's in it's design or it's content.
I'm tired of seeing people saying they've spent their hard earned cash paying somebody to write their CV for them or for a template, especially when the job market is so tough right now
So I've created this free CV template that you can use to write your own CV with advice on what to include in each section, along with some examples.
It's a Word doc, totally editable and should work fine in Google docs too.
